Unit Converter does not require accounts and does not ask for personal information. Your dark mode setting and recent conversions may be saved in your browser localStorage so the tool works better on return visits. This data never leaves your device.

What Data Is Stored Locally

localStorage items:

• unitConverterTheme - Your dark/light mode preference
• unitConverterHistory - Your last 5 conversions (stored locally only)

These are stored only in your browser and cleared if you clear your browser cache. We have zero access to this data.

Server Logs

When you visit Unit Converter, your web server may log standard HTTP information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are used only for security and server maintenance purposes. We do not use this information for tracking or marketing.

Advertising
